Joseph Chinnock

Joseph Chinnock is an author and director of A Writers’ Collective based in the United States. He created the company A Writers’ Collective, which is a consortium of Iowa Writers’ Workshop graduates. He has been published in a number of leading publications, including The Gettysburg Review, The Southeast Review and The Santa Clara Review.
Work
Since becoming a director of the writers collective, Chinnock has published a number of books and short stories. He recently was published on The Dirty Napkin, which his release ‘Grinding Machines’. It is an exert from his book ‘The Alchemy of Nourishment’. The book is about post-catholic, B minus Buddist who joins a cooking class in the new-age Mecca of Boulder. The book explores the limits of hunger, food, betrayal, madness, and revenge.
In Spring 2013, Chinnock went onto write the short story, ‘Legally Ted’. The short story was published in the spring edition of The Gettysburg Review in the same year. He also featured in The Santa Clara Review and The Southeast Review in the same year.
Chinnock has announced future books and projects in 2013, which include a book about a Hindu Sherlock Holmes.
