Joseph W. "Joe" Ah Quin is a Native Hawaiian Latter-day Saint singer and actor. He is possibly known to the most people for having played the role of Moki in Johnny Lingo, although since he has performed with the New York Metropolitan Opera, he is also well known for his singing. Ah Quin is one of the more known singers in and surrounding areas. Ah Quin was raised in Hawaii and studied music at the University of Hawaii. He has been involved with music at BYU-Hawaii since at least 1961. He was a student at BYU-Hawaii before studying at the University of Hawaii. Ah Quin and his wife are the parents of seven children.
