Jordan Matthews

Jordan Matthews (born September 19 1984 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an American actor and model.

Biography
When Matthews was young, he used to coach basketball at a youth center, using it as an opportunity to reach out to the community.

He was first discovered in a play by Tom Oppenheim, the grandson of the late Stella Adler. Matthews soon moved to New York City in order to study under the guide of the Stella Adler Conservatory where he became highly involved in studying method acting; Stella Adler was the famed teacher of Marlon Brando. Soon after, Matthews was noticed by Avenue Model Management and was scouted by such industry professionals as Nole Marin, famous for his role in the hit show America's Next Top Model. He has also been scouted by the brands Abercrombie and Fitch, Armani, Jean Paul Gautier and Moschino.

Since then, Jordan has shot with such celebrity photographers as Peter Hurley, Alex Lowy, Dana Patrick and Karl Simone. After a short stay in New York, he moved to Los Angeles where he was offered numerous film roles by notable producers in the industry. Jordan later met with Brian A. Metcalf, who chose him as the starring role of Jacob in the action/fantasy film Fading of the Cries; Jordan will be starring alongside Thomas Ian Nicholas, who made his name in the American Pie franchise. He will also be featured as Dave in Killer Thunder and filming is beginning in May of 2008 on Ashen, another Brian Metcalf film in which Matthews will be starring. He is currently signed with Torque Entertainement.

Matthews founded and owns a production company, Foresight Media Group, Inc, currently relocating to Beverly Hills.
