Joke Theory

Joke Theory is the scientific study of the formulas used for jokes. Basic examples (covered in Joke Theory classes) include the standard "Knock Knock" formula or the "Why did the chicken cross the road" formula. Lately the sophomoric "Your Mom" jokes have gained a lot of momentum in the humor scene as well. More complex concepts such as Joke Substitution (also known as "Jokestitution") are rarely encountered in amateur humor, but commonly found in repartee. An example of Jokestitution is as follows:
Person A:(makes an innuendo at a sushi bar, for example) Does your mom like to eat raw meat?
Person B:(Uses other person's template to make another joke, hilarity ensues) Does your mom like to eat penis?
