John Zachry is the current CEO of Zachry Holdings, Inc., a multi-billion dollar engineering and construction corporation. . Career Zachry followed the career of his father, and his father before him, and graduated in 1984 with a civil engineering degree from Texas A&M University.<ref name="zachry"/> He joined the family business after graduation and ascended to the position of president of the Industrial Division. From 1988 to 2004 he held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer, and in 2004 he was promoted to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).<ref name="zachry2"/> Family John is the son of Henry Bartell Zachry, Jr., the current Chairman of the Board of Zachry Construction Corporation, brother to David Zachry, the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zachry Corporation, and grandson to Henry Bartell Zachry, the founder of H.B. Zachry Company.<ref name="zachry2"/> |
