John Theierman, also known as MC-JT West Koast Konnection (born July 8, 1970), is a former member of New York hip hop group the Beastie Boys. MC-JT mixed and scratched alongside fellow members Mike D, Adam Horovitz, MCA, and Mix Master Mike. Biography MC-JT was born in Oakland, California. He attended Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. It is rumored that he was temporarily expelled after throwing a beer keg from the ninth floor of a residence hall. In 1983, he co-founded the band Goose Neck Rebels. MC-JT had an appearance on the David Letterman Shown in August 1994, where he performed a wild turkey bird call. Later, he recorded the red robin bird call in Francis Ford Coppola's classic film, "The Secret Garden". Rumor has it, in the late 1990s he collaborated with former Mouseketeer Greg Clement, in the failed feature film "The Fallen Stars". The film was never released. His current projects and exact whereabouts are unknown.
