John Herlihy

John Ahmed Herlihy is an author of books and articles on the subjects of Islam, the modern world, and Ayurveda.
Biography
Born in Boston, Massachusetts to an Irish-American family; Herlihy was raised a devout Catholic and studied at a Paulist seminary. He was educated at Boston University and Columbia University. He converted to Islam while teaching in the Middle East; an experience he has written about in several of his books (including In Search of the Truth.)
He currently resides in the United Arab Emirates where he works as a lecturer. He has often uses "publish on demand" services such as Xlibris to publish and sell his books. In addition to his publish on demand books, he often contributes articles to magazines, including the traditionalist journals Sacred Web and Sophia.
