Johanna Baer

Johanna E. Baer (born June 11, 1961) is American former child actress and dancer.
Education and career
Baer is the daughter of conductor and theater director William R. Baer. and The Nutcracker, in which she danced in the corps de ballet aged seven, She also appeared with the Bolshoi Ballet when they performed in San Francisco in 1968. and in the TV movie The People, opposite Kim Darby and William Shatner. The same year, she danced with the American Ballet Theater in a production of Études, performed with the American Conservatory Theater's Young Conservatory in Jean Giraudoux's The Enchanted, In 1977, she narrated Through the Looking-Glass by Deems Taylor in a performance by the Napa Symphony Orchestra, and won a scholarship to the North Carolina School of the Arts. A New York Times review of their performance of Elusive Garden observed that "An inventive love duet for Johanna Baer and John Gardner, as Delius, was the high point of the ballet. With her assured stage presence and clean line, Miss Baer is one of the most interesting dancers in the company."<ref name="Dunning"/> In her late teens, she played a dancer in the 1979 musical film Hair.
