Hans Huber (born 3 January 1933) is an Austrian mountaineer of the Alpine-style tradition, extreme skier, and ski jumper. He is the repeating skiing champion of the Kuchl Ski Club for the years 1955-1957, and 1961 in events that included a slalom, downhill, and a ski jump. First ascents/descents He was the first to descend on skis via the east wall of the Hoher Göll in the winter of 1958. Notable Climbs As member of a pioneering Alpine climbing group, including Fritz Wintersteller, Kurt Lapuch, Marcus_Schmuck, and others, he ascended Matterhorn, Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Mont Blanc, and Eiger.
