Joey Shaw is a fashion and celebrity photographer. He was born in Milan, Italy, in 1969. He lives in Montecarlo and he's shooting celebrities in Paris and Los Angeles. Personal Life Joey Shaw grew up in Milan studying Business and Account Management and graduating on stock exchanges. During the same years he bought his first manual Praktica camera with a few lenses. Satisfying his passion for the photography he started to study Ansel Adams ad his techniques building his own darkroom to process the black and white films. Career He got his first assignment for a magazine as a photographer at 20 years old shooting wild animals, mostly horses. Then the first jobs following music groups on tour and fashion shows both in Paris, Milan and New York. Since 1989 he's been shooting for many magazines like Vogue Sposa, Cosmopolitan, Max, Maxim; he's best known also for some covers with celebrities like Stephanie Pratt for H mag, Debby Ryan , as well as Navi Rawat , Arielle Kebbel Deborah Ann Woll, Lisa Edelstein, Tobin Bell, Jessica Lowndes and many more. Books Joey Shaw realized 2 photographic books. In 2005 "Behind the Scenes" the true story of a fashion photographer, has been published, with images coming from 15 years shooting fashion around the world. In 2008 "Shades of Glamour" a black and white collection of glamour images, has been released.
