Jin Yuquan, (born in May 1946) is a member of the Aisin Gioro clan more commonly known as the Qing dynasty (1644-1912). He is the second son of Jin Youzhi, formerly called Prince Puren, former head of the imperial family. He is therefore the grandson of Zaifeng, Prince Chun and nephew of the last Emperor Puyi. His eldest brother Jin Yuzhang, the current pretender to the throne of China , is vice-chairman of the municipal council of Chongwen district and his second brother Jin Yulan is a member of the consultative committee of the municipal district of Chaoyang in Beijing.
Jin Yuquan is vice president of the College of Energy and Environmental Protection of Beijing Polytechnic University. He previously worked at the Ministry of Higher Education of Environmental Sciences and Engineering Steering Committee in the Directorate General of Environmental Sciences and Atmospheric Environment.
