Jim Treacher

Jim Treacher is the nom de plume of Sean Medlock, an American political pundit and satirist. He currently writes a blog named The DC Trawler (a pun on "D.C.," and on the multiple meanings of "Trawler") for Tucker Carlson's news website, The Daily Caller, starting with the website's launch in January 2010.
Treacher is best known for starting the "Obama Eats Dogs" meme after his 2012 discovery of an anecdote in Barack Obama's 17 year old autobiography discussing how he ate dog meat as a child in Indonesia.
Background
Treacher grew up in Crawfordsville, Indiana and graduated from Crawfordsville Senior High School. He was formerly a book editor in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Treacher has been involved in joint endeavors with Dave Burge of Iowahawk, a short film project, and some work for Greg Gutfeld's Daily Gut.
