Jim Fargiano is a psychic medium. He is also an American author and is a continuing professor of spirituality through weekly meditative and spiritual meetings. Biography Jim lives in Long Island New York and holds weekly meetings. On September 19th 2008, Jim gave a radio interview with Empowered Living Radio with Steve Maraboli. The station is a popular online source of spirituality and claims to be the number one internet talk radio show in the United States. The interview covered everything from the beginning of Jim's path to becoming a medium, to his book and what his messages mean. The interview can be listened here at Jim has also been interviewed and written about in various local newspapers on Long Island, including The Press News Group, which is a highly regarded and largely circulated newspaper in Eastern Long Island Jim is a known supporter for wildlife preservation and protection. He is a continuing donor for example to the Quogue Wildlife Refuge and encourages others to get involved as well. Jim also accepts open food donations at his weekly prayer meetings. Jim has appeared on the cablevision show, Psychic Perceptions. Book Jim recently published a book titled, The Spoken Words of Spirit, which is highly reviewed and ranked on www.amazon.com. According to Jim's website, the book, "...is a compilation of shared messages from the other side, with work progressing quickly on many others." In other words, his book is about connecting the human experience to the spiritual realm. The Spoken Word of the Spirit was published last year and has become a profound figure in the medium spiritual community. The book focuses mainly on messages that Jim has received from the other side over the years and how he has come to interpret them. Weekly Meetings Weekly meetings include prayer, meditation, and channeling. Jim also offers private meetings for spiritual readings. Jim's meditative meetings are often compared to those of well known television psychic figure John Edward because of the similarity in channeling messages from spirits. They are actually two very different types of events even if the actual process known in channeling is the same. Jim has spoken with John Edward before and says Edward has actually referred people to him whose messages he himself has trouble deciphering.
