Aessynce Nicole Simmons (born January 20, 1987), professionally known as Aessynce, is an American author and spoken word performer. Born and raised in Decatur, Georgia Aessynce began writing at the tender age of seven, and by her eigth grade year she had already been published in various poetry anthologies.
