Jesusclan

Jesusclan, or the jesusclan, was a Christian Emo rock band from Los Angeles, California that lasted from 1998 to 2005.
History

Originally started by brothers Jesus Calderon(Vocals) and Josue Calderon(Lead Guitar and Vocals for AHUNTERABEARATRAP (http://www.ahunterabearatrap.com) http://www.josuecalderon.com , they asked longtime friend Daniel Jimenez to join as the official drummer. Soon, they asked Jimenez's cousin Jose Gonzales to join as bassist, and this would complete the original grouping of musicians. www.purevolume.com/thejesusclan

After the fallout of Gonzales, and a full length self-titled record, the remaining members sought out to find a second guitarist and fill in bassist. These positions were soon filled by brothers Samuel Bejar(guitar) and Hector Bejar(bass).

This group would soon record the last two albums of their six year career:The Forgotten Hero, and Burning the Bridges under production lead by Scott Silletta (http://www.scottsilletta.com/) of Plankeye (Tooth and Nail Records http://www.toothandnail.com), Fanmail and the Franchise (Vanishing Point Records)

The Band played and toured with several bands such as: Garaje (Spanish Ska), Roca Firme(http://www.rocafirme.com), Roca Eterna, Dizmas, Safe Haven (http://www.safehavenrock.com), After Parties for artists such as: Jaci Velasquez(http://www.jacivelasquez.com) and the Katinas(http://www.thekatinas.com).

Future

The band fell apart in 2005 as Lead Guitarist, Josue Calderon decides to take a much needed hiatus. In 2007, Calderon decided to come out of hiatus and start a new project named "Blue Armada" ( http://www.bluearmada.com ) which is composed of Calderon(Vocals), Josue Calderon(Bass), Daniel Jimenez(Drums), and Jonathan Servin(Guitar).

With several T.V. (http://www.AlmaVision.com) and radio interviews(http://www.RadioNuevaVida.com), the band won the hearts of the Latino Christian Community. Since this niche community is still fresh and growing, there are few Internet sites to provide strength to artists such as TJC, but their presence remains strong.
