Jeremiah Cohick

Jeremiah Lee Cohick (born January 15, 1984) is a new media executive, consultant and entrepreneur. In 2002 he appeared in one of television commercials. Cohick is a founder and President of Digital Dandelion, Inc.
Apple Switch Campaign
Cohick appeared in one of Apple's Switch commercials in 2002. Switch was an advertising campaign launched by Apple Computer (now Apple Inc.) that featured what the company referred to as "real people" who had "switched" from the Microsoft Windows platform to the Mac. In the commercial, the eighteen-year-old Cohick stated that he “used to bash Macs, but that was out of ignorance and then I actually used one. And I fell in love.”
As part of the international television and print ad campaign, viewers were directed to a website where various myths about the Mac platform were dispelled. The television commercials were directed by Errol Morris.
Helicopter crash survivor
From September 2002 through June 2003, Cohick lived with his uncle and family in San Diego and worked as "boy wonder" at Postal Annex. On January 10, 2003, while in San Francisco to attend Macworld Expo, Cohick survived a helicopter crash during an aerial tour of the San Francisco area. The helicopter was being operated by the San Francisco Helicopter Vista Tour company, and was piloted by John McClelland. According to Cohick, the pilot saved the lives of him and his three fellow passengers by being able to safely complete an autorotation, as the helicopter fell, at a rate of over 600 feet per minute, down to the waters of the San Francisco Bay after the aircraft lost power.
Digital Dandelion
In August 2008 Cohick co-founded Digital Dandelion, Inc with partners, Mark Fish, Arthur Nicholls and Jonathan Pullan. Digital Dandelion is a social and mobile application development company that develops games and applications for mobile phones and the Internet. In 2009 Digital Dandelion introduced Rejoinder its first mobile game for the Google Android and Apple iPhone. Rejoinder was featured as an Apple App Store “What’s Hot” game in October 2009.
