Jennifer Williams is an American host and sports reporter for ESPN digital platforms and ESPNU. Williams joined ESPN in August 2004 as an associate for Commercial Operations. In November 2006 she began hosting the NHL Fantasy Update for ESPN mobile and Verizon. She also covered fantasy football that season. For the 2007-08 Hockey season, Williams hosted and wrote the "Fantasy Hat Trick" for ESPN.com and Verizon ESPN MVP. In addition to fantasy hockey, she also covered fantasy football and NCAA Women's hoops for Verizon ESPN MVP during the '08 season. Williams also co-wrote and hosted "The Scoop", a sports and pop culture segment, on ESPN.com in the Spring of '08. Williams moved over to ESPN digital media as a coordinator for ESPN360.com in February '08. She currently works full time for ESPN new media's video production team editing and hosting segments including "ESPNU Timeouts", which air on ESPNU, during the The Herd with Colin Cowherd and the NHL Fantasy Hat Trick on ESPN.com. In the Spring of 2009, in conjunction with the start of the French Open, Williams began writing and hosting, ESPN.com's Digital Serve, which covers tennis headlines, match results, and rankings, and well as analysis from ESPN.com's tennis writers. Williams graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut in 2004 with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Architectural Studies. She was also a member of the Pi Gamma Mu honor society for social sciences. While there she was a member of the tennis and crew team, and covered women's basketball for the school's newspaper. Currently, Williams is pursuing a Master's Degree in Interactive Communication at Quinnipiac University and will be graduating in the Spring of 2009.
