Jennifer Griswold

Jennifer Griswold (Born 1982) is an American television journalist and reporter for Minnesota’s KSTP channel 5, an affiliate of ABC. She joined the news team as a morning reporter for 5 Eyewitness News. In 2007, Jennifer Griswold was listed as most eligible bachelorette by Forbes magazine.
Career
Jennifer started as a intern in WISN-TV, Hearst Argyle at Madison, Wisconsin in 2001. The following year she got a weekend desk assignment until 2003 when she transferred to the Wausau, Wisconsin television station WAOW-TV . Jennifer was a morning anchor for WAOW-TV from 2003 until 2006. In April 2006 she then transferred to the St. Paul, Minnesota based KSTP-TV station as a morning reporter for 5 Eyewitness News. Before moving to the Twin Cities in 2006 she continuously monitored stories on the 5 Eyewitness News website as the news program caught her attention. In 2007 Jennifer tried out mainstream acting and appeared as herself in the John Erick Dowdle directed film, The Poughkeepsie Tapes, it was distributed by MGM. Jennifer has also provided citations for academic studies, most notably the article on the Suppression of human cytochrome which was published on March 2004 for the journal of steroid biochemistry and molecular biology.
Personal life
Jennifer is a Bachelor’s degree graduate for the Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She was part of the honors program and had graduated in the top 15% of her class. Growing up in a small town north of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is used to the cold weather which is why she did not need to adjust to the weather of Minnesota. She also has a pet cat that is named Athens. Jennifer updates her followers by posting at her twitter page and she also does feature stories at the KSTP-TV website.
