Talk Nerdy To Me, Lover made internet history being the first website to be coded and launched by a female and in 6 months to hit the top 250,000 sites on the net.
Talk Nerdy To Me, Lover is also being made into a major motion picture.
Early Career
Friel attended Hall High School in West Hartford, CT and finished her studies at age 16. She then auditioned, and was the youngest person to be accepted into the adult program at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in NYC. During her stay in NYC, she appeared in music videos, and was a regular on a top rated live show on the network Fuse.
Friel moved to Los Angeles in the spring of 2004 knowing not a single soul. In 2005, Jen attended Groundlings School of Improv. She also began appearing as a host for a local TV show, and acting along side one of her idols Sally Kellerman in a major motion picture .
In October of 2008, she appeared on 5 episodes of Deal or No Deal syndicated version as Suitcase #16.
Social Media
Friel was brought on at the end of 2007 to assist in the launch of latest start up, LiveVideo. Her channel was called "PhotoJeNic" and to date is one of the most watched live shows on the network. She discontinued her work with Greenspan at the end of 2008, opting instead to launch her own consulting company.
In 2009, she was nominated for Wired.com's Sexiest Geeks of 2009.
She successfully crashed the 52nd annual Grammy Awards red carpet where she tweeted and livestreamed via Ustream meeting Pete Cashmore, the CEO and founder of her favorite blog Mashable.
In February 2010, she was named one of the latest Ford Fiesta Movement Agents, and represented Team LA in the largest social media campaign in the country.
In June 2010, she was up for a job working for the CEO of AOL, Tim Armstrong, launching AOL's Lifestream platform.
