Jeff Henry is a Canadian politician who is currently serving on Waterloo City Council, representing Ward 6. He has served on Council since 2010. Personal life Prior to Henry's election to council, he served as an academic integrity officer at his alma mater, the University of Waterloo. Henry holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Planning, focusing on Generational Change and Cities, Urban Housing Markets, and Local Economic Development.<ref name="uwaterloo.ca"/> Municipal politics Henry was elected to Waterloo City Council during the 2010 municipal election, unseating incumbent councillor Mike Connolly. When Henry was first elected at age 30, he was the youngest serving councillor amongst his peers.<ref name="therecord.com"/> |
