J.D.(James Dale) Rudd, aka J.D. Black , is a Meteorologist for KSN in Wichita, KS. Formerly, he worked for KMOT in Minot, North Dakota as the weather director. In addition, he started his career with KXMC of Minot in December 2004. J.D. was born and raised in Salina, Kansas where he graduated from Salina High School Central in 2001. He then attended Minot State University and graduated in 2005 with a BA in Broadcasting. He received a Certificate of Meteorology from Mississippi State University in the summer of 2008. J.D.'s hobbies include kayaking, cross-country skiing, and exploring forest bound weather anomalies. J.D. was named the Best Weatherperson in North Dakota by the North Dakota Broadcasters Association in September 2007. . |
