Jay Wynn (born 1980 or 1981) is a singer from Gloucester who reached the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent in 2017 dressed as a robot. Biography Wynn is a care worker and science fiction fan who won first prize at the 2017 Gloucester Comic Con for a giant robot costume made of scrap cardboard which requires him to stand on stilts when wearing it. In March 2018, Tom Davis wore a seven-foot robot costume commissioned from Wynn in an episode of Action Team. Britain's Got Talent Wynn auditioned for the of Britain's Got Talent in 2017, singing "Take on Me" by a-ha. Simon Cowell then pressed his buzzer. However, he received three yeses and made it to the live semi-finals. In his semi-final, he performed "Feeling Good" by Nina Simone. Two judges pressed their buzzers during his performance. He finished in last place in the public voting and so was eliminated. |
