Jay Rock is a rapper from Los Angeles. He is signed with Top Dawg Entertainment. He was raised by his mother in the Nickerson Gardens housing projects in Watts, CA. He has yet to release his full length debut album on Warner Brothers Records late 2008, called 'Follow Me Home'. The first single is probably the street single 'All My Life', which features New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne & Will.i.am. The track was produced by Terror Squad production team Cool & Dre. Other well-known tracks from the Blood rapper are 'Lift Me Up' & 'Blood Niggaz', for which he recorded music videos. He did release multiple mixtapes on his own & with other artist of the Top Dawg Entertainment crew, such as: K-Dot, Punch & Ab-soul. He also was on a track with fellow West Coast rapper Game, called 'Cali Niggaz' on his You Know What It Is Vol. 4 mixtape, along side various other LA & Oakland artist. At an early age he was sat down and told that he was going to have to find a way to make his own money, so he tried a few nine to fives, “but it just wasn’t right” - then he found the rap game.
