Jason Damata is an American media consultant and executive. He is the founder of Fabric Media, a consulting and communications firm established in 2007. Life and career Damata was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He attended the University of Denver, where he earned a B.A. in Journalism in 1998. Damata began his career in 2002 at C-SPAN, where he worked on educational programming. In 2005, he joined FORA.tv, focusing on media development. In 2006, he worked at . In 2007, he founded Fabric Media, a firm providing consulting and market strategies for media and advertising companies. Between 2008 and 2013, Damata worked at Trendrr, until its acquisition by Twitter in 2013. From 2010 to 2011, he served as CMO of Bebo. In 2016, Damata co-founded TVREV, a media analysis platform.
