James Dormer Schneider (b. February 1, 1981) is an American artist. Schneider was born in Kailua, HI, and spent most of his childhood in the Traveling throughout North America. He received his Bachelors in Fine Arts from the University of Tampa in December of 2004. James Dormer gained notoriety in the 90s, first as a Graffiti Illustrator, and then as a Graphic Design artist. James Worked as a Graphic Cartographer Designing maps for the Department of Transportation. James briefly moved to Seattle, Washington in the 2005. It was in Seattle that James began focusing on Ink Illustration. As of Early 2008, James started painting Skateboards with ink, working on a project called "Free Picnic" with photographer Lithium Picnic and model Apnea of Texas. In December 2007 Dormer started creating custom Indelible ink for use in his paintings. Career James Dormers artistic output has spanned a multitude of disciplines, including Graphic Design, Painting, Graffiti, Sculpture and Illustration, Cartography, Screenprinting, and Game Design. James has worked with bands including The Hot Toddies, Hello Control, The Date Night, Sharkteeth on promotional items and merchandise. Current Projects James Dormer is currently working with Mcbess Erik Jones Sean Herman Bask Pierre-Olivier Rivard Noah Deledda Nerdcore Rising on releasing a limited edition sticker package sent out with Swindle Magazine and package by Blackbooks.
