James Ashford

James Ashford (born 1992 in Shrewsbury) is a radio and podcast presenter in the UK.
Early life
He grew up in Shrewsbury. He attended , where he became deputy Head Boy. He went on to attend Shrewsbury Sixth Form College where he became College President. He began study at the University of Sheffield in 2010.
Career
Radio and Podcasts
He first joined Forge Radio as a presenter in 2010 presenting The James and Joe Show with Joe Berry. He also appeared on other shows, most frequently 'The Guide', presented by Danni Hunt and Sophia Howe. James and Joe began a series of podcasts in 2010.
In February 2011 The James and Joe Show was taken off air following the decision by Ashford and Berry to do a live show on Forge Radio without prior consent when the station was temporarily off-ar.
Newspapers
He wrote his first articles for The Daily Express in 2009. These continued to be written on a freelance basis. He has also contributed to the Guardian's Comment is Free section on a number of occasions.
