Jake Hjerpe

Jake Hjerpe (born April 12, 2004 in Sacramento, California), is an American motocross racer, off-road racer, motivator, and autism awareness advocate.
Personal life
At the age of 3 Jake was diagnosed with autism and first started riding dirt bikes at 6 but had quit until he was 13 years old. Jake is the youngest of 6 step and half siblings. He is an advocate for people with autism. Jake is sixteen years old and lives in Northern California. Jake's social media following has gotten bigger over the years after creating a big following on Snapchat and Tik-Tok. Jake's dad Jonathan is a off-road racer and his grandfather is a former off-road racer. His half brother Vincent is a former motocross racer and is now a drag racer.

2020 Knee injury
In January of 2020 Jake crashed while racing with a sprained wrist during an off-road race before he was supposed to qualify for Loretta Lynn's MX. The injuries he sustained in January are a high grade meniscus tear, partial ACL tear, partial PCL tear, and a partial MCL tear.
