Jacob Cody Young (born December 30, 1997), also known as Jake C. Young, is an American actor and filmmaker. He began his career as a child actor by starring in local plays. He has since became a filmmaker. He is the star of Fan Series Batman: Dark Avenger. He is scheduled to star in the upcoming Christian film My story, in which he portrays Jesus of Nazareth. He is also a screenwriter and director. He has wrote many plays and films including his own independent films. Early life Jake C. Young is from a small town in the eastern part of Kentucky. He started auditioning for School plays as a child, eventually he would start a small film corporation called "Mountain Top Studios", which he still is active in today. He is the oldest of two children, by both of his parents. He began his career by going to film festivals' and doing local advertisements for his friends and family in the community. His first major film was a musical of the 1984 film Footloose, in which he was the lead role. From there he would go on to take lessons in acting and directing. He then made the un-released short film We're all Walking Tall. He then was asked by Christian filmmaker Eric Brotherton to portray the lead role of Jesus of Nazareth in the film My Story, developed from the song released by Big Daddy Weave in 2015. There he was also approached about Batman: Dark Avenger due to his striking resemblance to Ben Affleck, who was to play the same character the following year. He has also done modeling since his filmmaking career. He is very devout in his religion and is very open about his faith in the Son of God. He often refers to him self as an "Independent fundamental Bible believing Baptist." He often goes on mission trips and speaks in churches. Young says he finds it relaxing to help others.
