Juscelino Dourado

Juscelino Antonio Dourado (born November 17, 1965 in Rondonópolis, Mato Grosso) is Executive Director of the Instituto Estre de Responsabilidade Socioambiental, developing environmental education activities for students of early childhood education, from primary and secondary education and trains teachers from public and private programs of environmental education.
He is reference in the subject of environmental education, especially in issues related to conscious consumption and the effective waste destination of post-consumption itens. He is also reference on the issue of managing environmental liabilities, particularly in technologies and processes to the final destination of solid waste and strategies for decontamination of soils.
Background
*Juscelino Dourado studied chemistry at the Institute of Chemistry of the Unicamp - University of Campinas (1986-1991) and the Faculty of Chemistry of the Lomonosov University, Moscow - Russia (1988-1990) in the department of inorganic chemistry, working on projects for synthesis of complexes of rare earth metals. In this period exercised the function of teaching of chemistry in high school.
*He studied business administration, in Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of São Paulo, FEA / USP, Ribeirão Preto campus (2000-2002).
*In the period 1986 to 1988 was General Coordinator of the ECL (Central Directory of Students), a member of University Council and the Central Commission of Graduate of the Unicamp - Universidade Estadual de Campinas.
*Participated in the coordination of the tent in the world of youth ECO-92, an event organized by the UN in Rio de Janeiro.
*In 1993 was appointed Assistant Secretary of the Secretariat of Government, the City of Ribeirão Preto, where he was responsible for implementing the Participatory Budget Program and the coordination of inter-departments actions.
*In 1995 he was appointed director of Telefónica de Ribeirão Preto - Ceterp, part of the opening of the company, the project of digitalization and computerization of the company, the creation of new business in data transmission, voice and images of the formation of the consortium to dispute the band B of mobile cellular and the structuring of the commercial area of the company.
*In the period 1998 to 2000 worked as a parliamentary aide in the Chamber of Deputies in Brasília, the Federal Bureau of Mr Antonio Palocci Filho, which followed the discussion of the PEC 175, which deals with project of tax reform.
* In 2001 and 2002 was Secretary of the Civil House of the City of Ribeirão Preto and Chief Superintendent of the Company for Economic Development of Ribeirão Preto - Coderp, being responsible for actions related to government: the communication and advertising, the information and services graphics, development of cultural tourism and business, economic development, urban and social actions of the generation of employment and income, the micro-credit and social economy, the program to generate jobs for young people. He was also chairman of the board of the Foundation curator Advanced Health Center - Fipase, promotion of technological policies for the area of health and health technology incubators.
* He was part of the transition team of government, the passage of the mandate of President Fernando Henrique Cardoso for President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in November and December 2002.
*He held the post of Head of Cabinet of Minister of Finance, Antonio Palocci Filho and President of the Board of Directors of the Company SERPRO - Federal Service of Data Processing, a company of the Ministry of Finance, January 2003 to September 2005.
*On 18 July 2003, was awarded with the Merit Santos-Dumont medal, commendation given by the Air Force Command, the Defense Ministry, for "distinguished service to the Brazilian Air Force", in Brasília - DF.
* On 21 April 2005, received the Medal of Honor Inconfidência commendation given by the Governor of Minas Gerais, to commemorate the Day of Inconfidência Mineira in Belo Horizonte - MG.
*He was a member of the Board of Companhia Siderurgica Paulista - COSIPA for the period 2003 to 2005.
*He is a consultant in management, organization and social and environmental responsibility of the company Estre Ambiental SA, a company providing services in solid waste management and remediation of contaminated areas in the management of reverse logistics equipment, electrical and electronic waste from construction, blendagem and in temporary storage of hazardous waste, bioremediation of soil contaminated by petroleum and its products and services diagnostic of contamination of soil and groundwater.
*Executive Director of the Institute is closely Socioambiental of Responsibility, which develops actions of environmental education for students of early childhood education, from primary and secondary education and trains teachers from public and private programs for environmental education.
