Jacobs Creature

The Jacobs Creature refers to an animal seen in photographs taken by a trail camera set up by Rick Jacobs in the Allegheny National Forest in Pennsylvania on 16 September 2008. The camera captured several pictures of wildlife, including deer and bears. Two photographs showed a dark furry animal which advocates for the existence of Bigfoot have called the Jacobs Creature. While the Pennsylvania Game Commission has stated that the animal was a bear with a severe case of mange, members of The Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO) have claimed that the animal is a juvenile Bigfoot.<ref name="ap_bigfoot" /> Reaction In response to the photographs, Jerry Feaser, a spokesperson for the Pennsylvania Game Commission, said, "There is no question it is a bear with a severe case of mange."<ref name="ap_bigfoot" /> |
