Jackie Ibanez (born November 16, 1985) is a journalist who is an anchor and correspondent for the Fox News Channel. She is the current overnight breaking news anchor and has also filled in as the co-host of Fox and Friends First and as a fill in headline reporter for Fox & Friends. Early life Jackie Ibanez grew up in Logan, Utah. As a young child, she attended Elementary School, in the Logan area of Utah, and is a 2003 graduate of Sky View High School in Smithfield Utah. After high school, she graduated, with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism, from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut in 2007. Professional career While in college, she interned with NBC Sports during 2006; and was a student correspondent with MSNBC News during 2006-2007. Career at WWLP-TV After graduation from college, she began her professional career as a producer with WWLP-TV in Springfield, Massachusetts in 2007. She got promotion from producer to reporter, and then as an anchor within 4 months. Career at Coltrin & Associates She left broadcast journalism in 2010 to join Coltrin & Associates, a public relations firm in New York City, as a managing director. Career at News 12 Connecticut Jackie returned to television as a news anchor for News 12 Connecticut in 2012, anchoring three live morning broadcasts. She left News 12 in December 2014. Career at Fox News Jackie joined Fox News as a correspondent in December 2014. Currently, she is serving as an overnight breaking news anchor at Fox News.
