Kirk Yuhnke is an American TV news anchor and reporter. He works as a morning anchor/reporter at KDVR, Fox 31 Denver News in Denver. Yuhnke was born in Buffalo, New York, and moved to Ohio as a teenager. After graduating from Buckeye High School in Medina, Ohio, he attended Kent State University, where he majored in broadcast journalism. Yunhke's career began at WNEO, a PBS station, where he worked as a reporter/anchor. With degree in hand, Yuhnke moved to Lansing, where he worked at WSYM-TV. While at WSYM, Yuhnke anchored the station's weekend newscasts. From Lansing, Yuhnke moved on to WJRT, ABC 12 News in Flint, Michigan. He worked there as a weekend morning anchor/reporter. In December 2006 Yuhnke began working at KSTU, Fox 13 News in Salt Lake City. He anchored the morning show, Good Day Utah, from 5am to 6am and reported for the remainder of the morning. In the beginning of 2009, Yuhnke moved from Salt Lake City down to Phoenix, Arizona, and began doing the morning news program for the ABC affiliate, KNXV. In 2013, Kirk moved to Denver, Colorado to anchor the morning news at Fox affiliate KDVR. Kirk is married and has two children.
