Jackal and Hyde is an American DJ act specializing in electro and electrocore. History Jackal and Hyde was founded in 1997 by Scott Weiser hailing from Los Angeles, CA. Scott Weiser got his start playing classical music on piano at the age of 7. In 1990 Weiser signed to the miami bass band Dynamix II in Miami, Florida in 1990 despite an opposing offer from Wax Trax! Records in Chicago and moved across the country to Florida, USA. In 1997 Weiser wanted to expand into more of the industrial influenced sound of his roots and recruited his friend Todd Walker to release "Beyond / Get Down To My Technique" as Jackal and Hyde on Hallucination Records. Over the years Jackal and Hyde has produced remixes for such notable bands as Love and Rockets, Kid Rock, Newcleus as well as others.
