DJ K is a ragga jungle producer and DJ from Ottawa, Canada. He started headlining live performances under the "DJ K" moniker by the end of 1999; however, he was well known for playing music locally and at his high school throughout the 1990s. His mixing and production style combines elements of drum & bass and other genres, while still retaining all under the jungle sound spectrum.
In 2003 he founded Killa Records. He was also part of the North American jungle renaissance at the time, primarily releasing and distributing music in Los Angeles on N2O and Big Cat Records. In 2007 he started the Killa Podcast. He continues to tour worldwide, release records and mixes.
