Jack Krystek

Jack Johan Krystek is a judo Instructor and competitive player in Judo. Krystek has trained at a number of schools including Queens Judo Center under Hank Kraft.
Coaching
Krystek would teach a variety of martial arts in Ozone Park, NY at the Krystek's School-Self Defense.
Competitive career
In May 1965, competing at the New York State AAU Judo Championships he placed third.
He would also earn a silver at the July 1965 New York black belt division. He would retire from competitive Judo in 1965 due to a back injury. He competed as a boxer, but lost via points in May 1977. In 2003, at the Starret City Judo Championships, Krystek, at the age of 64, would beat a 20-year-old. Krystek was a silver medalist in the World Masters Judo Championships 2010 Under 73 kg, in Montreal Canada. In the 2012 Grand Masters World Championships, which was located in Miami, he won the bronze medal. He also represented the United States in the 2014 IJF World Veterans Championships Here he would earn a bronze medal. He won gold in the 2013 USA Judo Senior Nationals.
In 2013, he earned his Shichidan via USA Judo.
