Izzy Miller (June 22, 1993) is an American rock musician. Miller has become known for his high-energy rock and roll performances as well as his songwriting. Besides his solo work, he has played in several bands, most notably Storage, which had a regional hit with their single "Just a Little More" in 2009. In late 2010, Miller released "Back From Nowhere", a solo acoustic album and also teamed up with drummer Smokin' Joey Gambrell. Miller and Gambrell released their first full-length album, "Who Is That? Nobody", on September 25, 2012 on Long Week Records. Since they've been together, they've been described as the "new saviors of rock n' roll" and NME stated "Look out Black Keys, here they come". They have also opened for artists such as John Anderson, Percy Sledge, and Clarence Carter. Early career Miller joined his first band, Before Existence, in 2007 at the age of thirteen. The band originally featured Miller on guitar and vocals, Travis Short on bass and vocals, and Jonathan Dinerman on keyboards. Austin Bryan (guitar) and Shaun Rose (drums) would join the band later to complete the lineup. Before Existence released one single, "Finished", but Miller left the band before it was recorded. Storage In early 2009, Miller put together Storage. With Miller now playing bass and singing, Austin Bryan on guitars, and Shaun Rose on drums, the lineup was complete. Storage released their first single, "Just a Little More", in April 2009. The song quickly become popular on radio in the southeast US and would become a regional hit for the band. The other song featured on the single, "Streets at Night', would also receive heavy radio airplay. Storage went on hiatus until early 2010, when the band reformed to record and release "Pack It Up", their one and only album, in July 2010. Going Solo/Smokin' Joey Gambrell After leaving Storage in June 2010, Miller began writing and recording material for what he described as a "solo, and very personal, acoustic album". "Back From Nowhere" was released on November 1, 2010, but failed to produce a successful radio single. However, the album did receive positive reviews. After a number of dates promoting "Nowhere", Miller teamed up with Smokin' Joey Gambrell. Miller and Gambrell first appeared on stage together on December 18, 2010 and soon began touring heavily. The released a single, "Hypocrite", in July 2011. Their debut album, "Who Is That? Nobody", was released on September 25, 2012 on Long Week Records.
