We Are The In Crowd

We Are The In Crowd (shortened as WATIC), is a pop rock band from Poughkeepsie, New York. The band was formed in 2009, and have quickly headed towards grabbing mainstream attention.
History
The band formed in January of 2009. Originally named The In Crowd, the band decided to change their name, after having some legal troubles, and difficulties copyrighting that name. After embarking on tours up and down the East Coast, the band started to form a group of loyal fans. With their fan support came the interest of the independent, California-based label, Hopeless Records.
After recording tracks with producer, Paul Leavitt (All Time Low, The Right Coast), the band offically announced their signing to Hopeless Records in November 2009. With their label in place, the band released two tracks through iTunes, For The Win and Never Be What You Want. The first single's release was accompanied by an acoustic version of the track, recorded with producer, Rob Freeman. WATIC's single, 'Never Be What You Want' was featured on Hopeless Records's compilation album, ' in 2010. Following a brief east coast tour in early 2010 with Secret Secret Dino Club, the band headed to Atlanta, Georgia in February to record an EP with Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount to be released in 2010. They are scheduled to play on the Warped Tour throughout the summer of 2010.
