IT New York is an IT services company based in New York City in the United States. The company was founded in 2011 by entrepreneur and self-taught expert in computer security, Michael Good. History IT New York was founded in 2011 by Good whilst he was still studying at the Clive Davis School of Music. He was inspired by an argument with an anonymous stranger via a peer-to-peer program called Ares. The stranger threatened to hack Good's PC, but Good struck first, completely disabling his opponent's computer. The ease at which he did this alerted Good to possibility of serious flaws in computer security, and he taught himself penetration testing as a result. Amongst the music artists who have been interviewed on EatYoBeats are the Canadian-American vocalist Jonny Craig, previously the lead singer of the California post-hardcore band, Dance Gavin Dance, and the Swedish DJ duo of Sebastian Furrer & Alexander Björklund, who perform under the name Cazzette, and who have toured with the renowned DJ, Avicii. EatYoBeats are partnered with the American entertainment company Live Nation, and the Google Venture backed website DJZ.com. In August 2013, Good was interviewed by Shanghaiist, part of the Gothamist LLC city blog network, regarding the recent hack on the Dalai Lama at the Central Tibetan Administration. In November 2013 IT New York released the results of a market analysis survey it had performed with the help of 1,000 volunteers regarding the release of the iPhone 5c and 5s. Also in November 2013, Good was named the Chief Security of Rails Dog, a software development shop based in Pikesville, Maryland who focus on web applications and e-commerce.
