TopTenReviews (TTR) is a website which aggregates reviews for software, hardware, web services, music, movies and video games from other sites and publications. For each product, a numerical score from each review is obtained and the total is averaged to a four star scale. It was founded by Jerry Ropelato in 2003. Over 100 thousand movies, music, and 30 thousand video games were aggregated. Awards and recognition On September 27, 2010, OMMA named TopTenReviews the 2010 Award Winner for Website Excellence in the Education category. In August 2010, TopTenReviews was named Finalist in New York City Hot 125 by Lead411. In 2007, the site was named a finalist in the e-commerce category of the 2007 American Business Awards. In July 2006, the company ranked #10 on UVEF “Top 25 Under 5” Competition. |
