Ipodia

The Viterbi iPodia (ViP) Program is a cooperative education program initiated by the Viterbi School of Engineering at the University of Southern California (USC).
The program was created in 2009 and initially included USC and Peking University. In 2010, National Taiwan University joined the program, and today the program enrolls 20 students from each of the three Universities, selected through an application and interview process.
The goal of the program is to create a "Learner-Centered" classroom, where students can learn cultural context by working with students of diverse cultural backgrounds on team-based project.
Throughout the course, iPodia students communicate using video communication technology. Students meet in person at the end of each course, during a period of travel to one of the three Universities.
