FunnelBrain

FunnelBrain is a social learning website where students collaborate to create excellent learning materials for all academic subjects. FunnelBrain provides an platform for building multi-media flashcards and online student study groups. FunnelBrain follows a wiki style approach to content creation and easy to use video, audio, text and images empower the student group collaboration. The advantage of FunnelBrain is that it allows the students to add a "3rd dimension" to any flashcard. This 3rd dimension allows the user to create an explanation, add links to further reading, or include your favorite video mnemonic device for every question and answer.
History
FunnelBrain was founded in September 2007 by Jack Dennision, an industry veteran. The executive team consists of Joe DeTuno and Sean Whitley serving as CEO and CIO. The FunnelBrain team consists of seasoned Internet executives and education experts including Daniel Berdichevsky, who recently joined the board of advisers.

In its limited public beta period, FunnelBrain has already attracted over 20,000 contributions in high school advanced placement classes including Algebra, Calculus, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, and Accounting.
