International Relations Quarterly

The International Relations Quarterly is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal on international relations in Hungary and the South-East European region that was established in March 2010. The journal covers studies, scientific essays, and materials from conferences mainly on history, economy, law, politics, social studies, theology and philosophy in English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Russian, and in the languages spoken in the region (Albanian, Croatian, Greek, Hungarian, Romanian, Serbian, Slovakian, Slovenian, and Ukrainian). The South-East Europe Foundation and the South-East Europe Research Institution jointly work on the content of the journal. Budapest is the centre of the Institution and the Foundation as well. The editor-in-chief is Csaba Surányi.
Foundation
The primary objective of the Foundation is to contribute to the Euro-Atlantic integration of South-East European countries, organize conferences, workshops and publish scientific journals.
Research institution
Scientists researching the region's society founded the South-East Research Institution. Its tasks include organizing scientific workshops and building a network of universities in the region. 42 researchers and 20 translators help the work of the Institution whose aim is to pay special attention to show the region's linguistic and cultural diversity in their works as well as to make them available in several regional and world languages for public research.
