International Emerging Talent Film Festival

The International Emerging Talent Film Festival (IETFF) is a film festival established in 2007 by the International Emerging Film Talent Association (IEFTA) that takes place in Monaco in the three days before the Cannes Film Festival.
The mission of the IETFF is to discover and promote emerging cinema talent from around the world, to encourage dialogue between filmmakers, to promote cultural diversity and international understanding and to engage the art of cinema.
Festival programme
In addition to special screenings, “spotlights,” panels and other activities, the IETFF will present twenty-two short films, documentaries and narrative features in its Competition.
The Film Pro Meetings provide an opportunity for industry professionals and emerging filmmakers to meet and collaborate.
Through a partnership with the Natural Resources Defense Council the Festival’s forums and events will provide platforms to educate audiences, filmmakers, government leaders and studio executives on ecologically sound life practices and on environmentally responsible film production techniques.
Additional initiatives
The Global Film Forum and Global Film Expression initiatives will be introduced in 2007 and 2008 to assist with
film education and the use of cinema as a medium of expression in regions of
the world where cinematic tools and expertise are difficult to find.
