Interaction Chat

Interaction is a free Ajax instant messaging web service that benefits from the Web 2.0 characteristics, basically: light-weight server technology and heavy use of Javascript client-side. Interaction is a fast web application that uses sophisticated technology optimized to create the minimum number or server queries (no reloads) using XMLHttpRequest technology.

You don't need to install any application on your computer before using Interaction; a web browser is enough and you can use Interaction on every computer connected to the Internet. Interaction currently supports Opera, Firefox and Internet Explorer, and has been reported to work properly with Konqueror.

The Interaction core application is hosted at their facilities and the end-user needs to include a piece of code in his web site in order to show his online status of to pop a chat window up when he is connected.

Audience

The company seems to be targeting power users and companies with the Professional and Enterprise editions, giving away a limited version of their chat application to regular users with a text link ad in the chat window.
