Intsa-Panel The Insta-Panel is a standardized prefabricated control panel developed by EPIC Systems, Inc. in 2011 at their facility in Saint Louis, MO. It is an alternative to custom built control panels and is intended for use in manufacturing environments. The Insta-Panel consists of a weatherproof panel cabinet, HMI, CompantLogix Processer, I/O, power supply, Ethernet switch, e-stop button, battery backup, convenience receptacle, and electrical wiring. The panel can be expanded by adding in expansion modules and is easily networked. The Insta-Panel is used in manufacturing plants to standardize plant wide controls, or to quickly install controls on a machine or production line. It provides the first standard building block of distributed plant automation architecture. It has also been used with industrial processing applications, such as distillation, chemical processing systems, and steam systems.
