OmniFlash is the tradename for a small Single Board Computer (SBC) based on the Cirrus Logic EP9302 ARM9 processor chip running Embedded Linux. The controller features 16MB of Flash Memory and 32MB of SDRAM. The I/O features of the device include Ethernet, USB, two RS-232 ports and low voltage Transistor-transistor logic inputs and outputs. Linux Kernel 2.4 with RedBoot and BusyBox is preinstalled on the OmniFlash and includes working drivers for USB storage and 802.11b wireless devices. Uses OmniFlsah can be used as controller in industrial and educational purposes with its high computing power compared to available 8-bit or 16-bit microcontrollers. |
