Quality Control in China As we know, the world is becoming smaller with highly developed technology and communication ways. Peoples' needs will be more easy to satisfy when as most of the products could be imported from different countries. China, as one of the biggest world factories, has been competitive on the price of the labor. However, there might be some problems in the quality control system in Chinese factories without which the quality could be rather poor. So, it is rather import to carry out an inspection after the buyers decide to import goods from China. This will surely assist buyers to monitor the production and the quality checking process. The Importance of Inspection As the long distance and limitations of communication, many foreign businessmen could not get to know detail condition of the finished products ordered from China. Thus will cause some problems to know if the products are well finished according to buyers request. Then, it is the very time for an inspection service to businessmen. With Inspection service, the deficiencies of the products can be listed for the buyers to make an acceptance decision before shipment. This will surely guarantee business rights and enhance the cooperation! About Inspection Types 1.Initial Production Inspection (IPI): allows timely corrections and improvements before the whole production starts;any non-conformity is immediately reported so as to avoid fatal mistakes before production. (At the beginning of production) 2.During Production Inspection (DPI): suggests improving methods for the production in the following steps, predicts production effectiveness and estimated production finishing time.(at least 80% of the products have been produced ) 3.Final Random Inspection (FRI): It is similar to the PSI, please refer to the 4th type in this article. 4.Pre-shipment Inspection (PSI): verifies that the finished shipping lots conform to the buyer's specification, order, L/C, reference samples, etc.(at least 80% of the products are packed, marked.) 5.Container Loading Supervision (CLS): supervises the whole loading process to the container and help manufacturer finish loading confirmation to the buyers’ requirement, and take on-site pictures for the clients’ reference. 6. Lab Testing: It is a needs for the buyers who want to know the property, chemical contents, physical properties, safety etc. of the products they buy and many of the countries may need importers to provide testing report of imported good for the release of goods from Custom. So the lab testing includes many aspects. 7. Factory Audit (FA): confirms buyers' potential partner’s qualifications and reliability. The inspectors will take an on-site visit and check factory profiles, employees and workforce, facilities, quality management system as well as its cooperators and business experience. This will surely guarantee business between buyers and suppliers.
