Company History
Infotel was launched in Cambridge, England in 1989 by husband and wife Davy and Ann Cordner, by opening phone lines to provide a simple hotel finding service; later in 1989 a telephone booking service was introduced.
In 1992 Infotel relocated to Gosberton in Lincolnshire and by 1995 they developed the Infotel.co.uk website, enabling clients to browse a database of hotels and book accommodation in the UK online.

By the end of the naughties, Infotel.co.uk expanded to enable international reservations and instant online room bookings across the world.
In 1999 Infotel.co.uk were voted to have one of the best 300 Internet sites in the world by PC Magazine.
Due to the increasing demand to book meetings placed on the staff, Infotel launched a dedicated conference sourcing website Findmeaconference.com in 2001 and by 2004 Findmeahotelroom.com had been launched to provide accommodation services for the increasing number of Corporate clients that required accommodation for business.
Infotel.co.uk are members of the Hotel Bookings Agents Association (HBAA) and has received ISO 9001: 2008 accreditation.
Geographical Coverage
Although Infotel.co.uk specialises in UK accommodation, the site has access to hotels in 160 different countries.

Hotels and accommodation providers are able to fill empty beds and hotel rooms by advertising their availability and daily rates through Infotel.co.uk.
Infotel.co.uk works uniquely to other hotel booking agencies by charging no commission to partner hotels for filling their empty rooms, instead it charges a one off annual fee.
This in turn benefits bookers who are offered hotels own lowest rates via the Infotel.co.uk website and call centre as no commission is charged.
Any hotel can join Infotel.co.uk, non-partner hotels are charged commission on bookings through the Infotel.co.uk website and call centre.
