India Programme XII on Diabetes Research is a programme to invite research on Diabetes, organised by the Ministry of Science, Government Of India. India is a home to over 61 million diabetic people in World.<ref name="db" /> The Government in order to tackle this disease whose burden has gone up in the country by 50.8 million since 2010, is now putting together the plans for massive global scientific projects to find innovative ways to fight the disease. The science ministry proposal said that 25 crore will be set aside for global collaboration with partial funding coming from participating countries. |
