Inderjeet Aujla

Inderjeet Singh Aujla (born 25 October 1987) is a professional footballer currently playing for Royal Racing FC Montegnée in Belgium.
Being a British-born Indian, he is one of very few that have played for professional clubs in England and Belgium.
Career
Aujla began his career for his hometown club Bradford City at the age of 14. He was awarded with a contract and left school at 16 to join the Bantams fulltime in 2004 managed then by Colin Todd. Playing both right back and central midfield in his first year he won Young Player of the Year becoming a regular in the reserve team at 16. His second year was hampered with injuries and a change of personnel at the club meant he was released in 2006
He moved onto Chester City managed then by Mark Wright. Competition for places was high and he never got a consistent chance in the first team and left in 2007. He went on to have spells for Longford Town under Alan Matthews, Guiseley A.F.C.,and Bacup Borough F.C. under Brent Peters before leaving the country to play in the United States on a soccer scholarship for CCBC Essex in Baltimore in 2008. He captained the side and won the Maryland regional twice, one district final and reached Arizona for National Finals in 2008. Aujla was named in the all state team two years running.
Aujla returned to England in 2010 and signed for Garforth Town managed by Steve Nichol in the Evo-Stik League. After making 25 appearances he attracted attention from Belgian side Royal Racing FC Montegnée managed by Fiorenzo Serchia and signed terms in January 2011.
